The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists was in high dudgeon last week over the difference some private health insurers see between Viagra, the new impotency pill, and birth control pills. Some insurers will pay for Viagra prescriptions but will not cover prescription birth control. That, the doctors said, constitutes a clear case of gender discrimination.
